Toshiba Satellite S855-S5380 15.6-Inch Laptop (Ice Blue Brushed Aluminum)

I ordered this yesterday evening (shortly around 5pm) with 2 day shipping option and received it today around noon (faster than expected)!!! The laptop is just as described in the ad. I own an older Toshiba with (Pentium with intel video) which lags on some games and have been shopping for a model with a dedicated video card... this laptop has no problem running ultra settings on games such as skyrim and SWTOR(still in the process of installing my other games).

I was looking for a laptop to replace my older desktop and this one seems to be the one.

My first windows 8 machine, so I am still figuring that out... I will be ordering more RAM for this laptop (it came with 6 I'm going to take it to 16)

As far as what I use it for (programming, gamming, videos internet etc.... this is a great priced nice running laptop... I'm sure a laptop such as alienware would put this one to shame but as far as I can see this less expensive model runs my games just fine.

I have just gotten my Toshiba laptop and it is a beauty! I am a young tech guy and I have found my way around using windows 8 OS -without reading any book! The product works fine except for the product description which puts computer speed at 3.10ghz! For me, that`s one thing that endeared me to this machine but on checking, it is just 2.50ghz! I am not so cool with this and i consider it a misrepresentation. Amazon is a great company and I believe you owe your customers a duty of truthfulness. the Product is great! excellent product, good price, good performance. It`s good to work or to play video games, the screen have a excellent size for all that i need to do.

I'm confused of the win 8 system...And the keyboard is a little bit plastic style...

Stylish laptop with a nice layout. The problem with this laptop is the lack of backlit keys. Amazing how you don't realize you miss that feature till it's not there. Also, windows 8, I wanted a laptop not a tablet. Windows 8 is designed for a touch screen interface and is irritating on this format. Currently looking to change it to a windows 7 format and then I think I'd bump this rating up a star.
