First, this had windows 7 which in my opinion is better than 8, video card is great, plays games and is fast. The Hard drive is a 750GB 7200RPM drive, which is nice but I am an SSD fan so I quickly cloned the drive to an SSD which makes this fly. Has some bloatware but I quickly removed it. MSI has some nice features. The aesthetics are great on the PC, I like the look and feel, its not got the cheap feeling at all. Has 8gb of ram, I have never known anyone to use more than four so there is no reason for an addition. Comes with a 2 year warranty which no other brands I looked at offered. It even has a Blu-Ray player that was not listed anywhere, even on the company website!!
Overall I would recommend this to anyone who wants to do light to medium gaming, The screen has a different look to it so that takes some getting used to but other than that there is nothing I don't like about it.
I am certified by Two major computer manufactures to support there products at the company I work and it gives me very good discounts on there products but I still chose this because it was the best deal both price wise and offering a superior warranty.
Way to go MSI!This machine is definitely a beast. Lot of processing power; both CPU and GPU. very robust and durable; I just wish it was cheaper :-)

For the price, you can't find anything better I think. Works great, exxcelent build quality, graphics, sound, etc. It has blu ray player, I didn't know untill I opened the package.100% recommended.

The overly-sensitive touch pad is the biggest issue i have with this otherwise satisfactory product. Gets more than a little bit annoying when i have to spend valuable time correcting the results of unintended commands that gets executed from the touch pad. Even as i type this i have to be making corrections to the where text falls in the document as the cursor sometimes skip backwards and upwards into already typed text making a mess of things. Things get selected unexpectedly, which is very annoying. I have tried everything to correct the problem, from adjusting the sensitivity to uninstalling and installing different drivers from the Elan, the manufacturers of the touch pad system, without any success. On top of that, MSi doesn't seem to even have drivers for the touch pad available for download from its website, so no support. The second issue is that unlike some other brands, MSi has not included in its features, a hard volume control. Takes that much more time to evoke the soft controls for adjusting volume. Kinda difficult coming down from a situation where one could easily index down or up the volume in short order.
Outside of these two issues, the machine is good to go. Runs pretty cool, in comparison to my previous HP 6000 series.
