Toshiba goes the extra mile, and this computer is no exception.

The speakers, instead of being on the bottom front like other laptops, are right on the top, never covered by your lap or bellyand they are the LOUDEST speakers on any laptop I've tested. Also the best sound (Dolby!).

Longest power cord of any laptop I know of. This is a huge convenience for me.

Doesn't get hot on the bottom, even after being on and used for a LONG time.

BLAZING FAST!

I bought an HP two months ago and it's already in the shop. I bought this Toshiba while the HP was being sent away and now I am going to sell the HP and keep the Toshiba. I LOVE this laptop. Wish I had bought it in the first place.

I'd give this 5 stars, but I've only had 3 days. I love this computer. After having had a Dell, an HP, and a Sony Vaio that died after a year, I chose this based on reviews here, Toshiba and Best Buy and am so glad I did. So far, it's the best computer I've had. The keyboard on the Sony drove my crazy and this one is terrific. Sound is also far superior than what I'm used to. I also like there's a switch above the touch pad to turn off as I never use. I got a better deal at Best Buy, which surprised me. They're a lot more competitive than they used to be.
