This is my new work laptop. I'm a software engineer, so I'm typing all day. I'm coming from a MacBook Pro. The keyboard and trackpad on the X1 Carbon are simply the best; even better than my old ThinkPads. The laptop is thin and light, yet feels very sturdy. The screen is beautiful. I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 on it, and it works quite well. I can get 5 hours of JavaScript development out of the battery pretty easily.Save 16% Off
