This laptop has been a great blessing to my family in saving money and as a Mother's Day gift. Both affordable, transportable, and the glossy red is perfect for my mom to know that it's totally meant for her. I'm not sure if Microsoft Office came with it but I don't think it did. Either way, they thought it was brand new and I'm satisfied. We can get Microsoft Office from a simple download.

If you put it in energy saving mode, the battery lasts for hours. It is not a gaming PC, but it meets the needs of an everyday user.

Although it is a refurb, machine appeared and ran as new. Enough RAM, CPU and graphics for almost any application. Display looks great. Even running modern games is satisfactory (so I hear after all, this *is* for one of my sons). For $340, this is a steal. I just ordered another one for my other son.

The product arrived on time, slow delivery by that was promised from the beginning. It is less than five minutes to set up the computer and it has worked fine sine then. However, after receiving the computer I realized that the warranty on it had expired. The seller registered the computer under their name when they bought it from Gateway. This meant that I am not able to register the computer under may name and there is no warranty on it. The computer was new. This is why I gave it three stars.
