I did lots of research before purchasing a laptop. I settled on this one because it seemed to be the most bang for the buck. I have had no problems with it, and I've had it for about 3 months now. In fact, I do everything on it. I love it! The screen is huge. It's not super light, but that was to be expected. It has a great battery life, and I've had no problems with opening multiple webpages as one user said.The reason this didn't get 5 stars from me is because of the keyboard. It seems really cheap and plasticky. In fact, I can actually see the entire keyboard moving up and down when I'm typing really fast. Doesn't hinder performance, just seems cheap. Other than that, this thing is fantastic! I do recommend it!
Oh, also, Windows 8 is amazing. I'm sure that people who don't like it are those same people who complain everytime Facebook makes a change to their timeline... people who don't like change. It has all the features Windows 7 has, just enhanced. Give it some time and you'll get used to it.
