I bought this laptop to be reliable, a little more hardened for travelling, and heavier duty for interfacing to projectors and other devices while still having enough speed and memory to perform well. I use this computer for everything from e-mail to AutoCad drafting. Battery life is very good depending on the use. With e-mail and Skype, the battery will last for several hours.
