This laptop is one helluva workhorse! It can play pretty much any new game you throw at it from GTA IV, to Grid 2, and everything in between... I even managed to get a steady playable framerate out of Microsoft FSX on max!Windows 8 is different, but after you use it for a day or two you become used to it.
All in all this computer is an awesome value fast, big, looks great, Beats Audio sounds great (I use the built-in speakers more than my $100 Logitech speakers now). Whether you're a gamer or a student, this is a great choice.
