She never used its memory for downloading any file. The computer was working between 2 and 4 hours daily.
14 months later, the HP laptop does not work anymore. It shut down with a "90B" error message = "fan not working correctly".
HP customer service did not care of the problem unless I paid $60 for online repair + 2 hours on phone! The computer did not restart because the fan needs physically to be replaced.... HP asked $163 for the repair... sending me a prepaid box and to fix the 14 MONTHS OLD laptop!
Because I did not purchase an extended warranty from BEST BUY it was impossible to receive any satisfaction from HP customer service!
Apparently for HP, there is nothing significant about a laptop that does not work for more than 1 year!!!
Their product quality in my opinion is extremely piss poor. I feel like I was deceived by HP and will NEVER buy another HEWLETT PACKARD product. The customer service is not much better....it is obvious customer service appears to be somewhere other than the US. While attempting to help, I was just passed from one CS representative to another. All this over a mechanical fan that certainly should last longer than 14 months. Never have I had in seven computers a failed fan until I bought a HP laptop.
I bought two GATEWAY laptops within the last ten years and still work with. They are efficient and good quality.
