I love factory refurbished models. It means that a problem was found, and fixed. This came to me with the protective plastic on it, brand new, and in perfect condition. This exact same model currently sells for $300 more than I paid. Up and running in minutes. A really great all around machine. I bought it to replace my 5 year old desktop and it does that and more. Very fast, plenty of storage, great audio, and video. Windows 8 is different but not that bad. All in all, there is nothing this laptop can't do, and do well. Why pay more ?
