This is the second Acer I've bought in the last 6 months my niece needed a computer, so I gave her my AS5253-BZ602 and got this one for myself. Both have been great purchases. Set-up was easy, there was some bloatware, but not an excessive amount. It runs fast and handles multi-tasking well. The screen resolution...

I wanted an ultrabook with Windows 7, not Windows 8, and this one fit the bill. The screen resolution is fantastic and the speakers are excellent. The front facing camera is very good and video chats are excellent quality. The ultrabook is lightweight and easy to carry. It comes with a sleeve and can be carried...

I purchased this from TigerDirect.com and the product description page stated that it weighs 4.56 lb. It weighs at least 5.5 lb and probably closer to 6 lb. For that weight you can get a 15" ultrabook that will cost less, comes with a new 3rd generation Core i5, a HDMI port, and has a nicer screen. Contacted...

Well for one its nice to see that as i sit here and type this review on the computer itself, Lenovo have ditched the old looking IBM thinkpad method and made the modern mac book look stylish and great. This computer is great, oddly enough i got it at office depot, the regular price was 679$ and they are running...

I've had this for about a month and so far, I don't have many complaints. I've owned 17" laptops the past few years and while the larger screen is nice, they're just a little too bulky to be taking it everywhere. The 15.6" size is perfect for my needs and is considerably lighter. The Intel i7-3630QM processor...

I picked up one of these HP Probooks after seeing my girlfriends, which was provided by her employer. The pictures don't do this machine any justice. This notebook features solid contruction and a nice sleek brushed aluminum finish. I am in the gaming pc profession and needed a reliable notebook for after office...

It is a snappy little laptop with the I3 CPU. The body in front of the keys is flimsy plastic. I can the upper (around keyboard part) and lower (bottom) shift when I garb it. The first time this happened I thought I had broken it. The screen is nice and sharp, the sound is worthless. Even in a very quiet room...

I've been using the Precision M70 for the last three years and I still think it outperforms most of the new laptops that I've worked on. It is a tough, well constructed latop that is great for everyday work. The video card which seperated this model from other Dells of its time is very good and better than most...

I've owned a netbook since April '08 when I bought one of the first mass market Asus EeePC Surf models. It was a useful travel tool, light, easy to store and secure, but it lacked two things.. screen size and an adult size keyboard. The HP Mini 5101 covers both those issues and more.I've had the 5101 for a...

First, this ultrabook is awesome! Starts up fast, thanks to the 128gb SSD. High quality brushed aluminum casing, USB 3.0 connection, HDMI output, WiDi connectivity and backlit keyboard. Now, for the not awesome part (this is for me. for other users, this might be sufficient..), only 4gb of ram, and it's on-board,...

The laptop is very beautiful; the color is subtle. The keyboard is so comfortable to use. The laptop is very lightweight and is very portable ( I attend grad school at night so this is an important factor for me). The battery life is also very good.I found the Windows 8 operating system to be a lot of fun....

Update: You can read the below first but I do have something to add. When I first called Tampa Laptops, I asked about the BIOS because I was having a hard time restoring and was told that there really was no need to update BIOS. The laptop was shipped with BIOS version A09 and the current versions are A17 and...

I got this computer to replace a similar computer that crashed. It works even better than the previous one, and I am thrilled that I got such a great deal on a computer. It was on sale for significantly less than the retail price, which made it one of the least expensive computers on Amazon at the time, and...

It seems i may be the sole voice of reason here. Perhaps the fellows who wrote their reviews here had either the unfortunate luck of getting a defective pc OR don't know how to maximize battery and performance life out of their tools by themselves.Frodo, for instance, probably could have saved himself quite a...

It was very hard to choose between this Sony, the Macbook Air, or the Asus UX-31A but overall I'm sort of content with my purchase. The first thing I noticed after opening the box was how small it is, which is a good thing. It also is very attractive, with very sleek aluminum case. As far as performance goes...
